Day 1: Transfer to Sheraton hotel Kampala
Upon Arrival at the Entebbe airport in Uganda, your driver guide picks you up and transfers you to your booked hotel in Kampala or Entebbe. Have refreshments, dinner and an overnight stay as you get ready for the next day.
Day 2: Drive to Murchison Falls National Park
On this day enjoy an early breakfast, meet your driver guide for a transfer journey to Murchison Falls National Park in the Northwestern part of Uganda. Enjoying lunch en route at Kabalega dinners, you go through Luweero triangle, Nakasongola, Masindi town and then finally enter the park. On your road trip groove on the breathtaking scenic views of the mesmerizing landscapes. Upon arrival, check in at the booked lodge for refreshments after the long journey, camp fire, dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 3: Game drive and Boat cruise
Early in the morning, delight in your delicious breakfast and set off for the morning game drive. During this activity, you get chance to view many animals still sunbathing, others still getting ready for the day. Animals you get to encounter include leopards, elephants, giraffes and many more however some animals cannot be seen such as nocturnal animals because they only be active in the night. Get back to the lodge in the afternoon for relaxation, refreshments and lunch meal. Later on, enjoy the boat cruise on Murchison Falls where you get an opportunity to encounter different animals quenching their thirst like hippos, elephants, Nile crocodiles and numerous colorful birds. Head back to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 4: Transfer to Kibale and Rhino tracking (optional)
Delight in your morning breakfast, meet your driver and start the journey to Kibale National Park. On your way, enjoy a stopover at Ziwa Rhino sanctuary and encounter the Rhinos however, this is optional or sometimes its according to the time. There’s also another brief stopover in Mbarara town at Igongo cultural site for lunch en route and continue with your journey as viewing beautiful sceneries. On reaching, check in at your booked lodge, relax, have dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 5: Chimpanzee trekking and Bigodi community walk
Early in the morning, enjoy your breakfast and head to the park headquarters for briefing about the activity. Get with your ranger guide and start the trekking in Kibale forest to find chimpanzees and you are given one hour to interact with them when found. Kibale Forest National Park ls known as the Primate Capital of East Africa harboring many chimpanzees and monkeys like Vervet monkeys, L’Hoest monkeys, red tailed monkeys among others. Head back to the lodge and relax, have lunch and proceed for Bigodi community walk. Apart from having a lot of chimpanzees, Kibale forest is a renown home for various colorful birds in the Bigodi wetland so bird lovers are covered too. Get to interact with people around the community learning a lot about their way of living and much more. Get back to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 6: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park and Game drive
Enjoy your breakfast in the morning, meet your driver guide and start the journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park in western part of Uganda. Upon arrival, check in at the booked lodge, relax, enjoy lunch and set off to the park for an incredible evening Game drive. Get opportunity to see thrilling wildlife like the unique tree climbing lions in the Ishasha sector of the park encounter other animals which include elephants, leopards, buffaloes among others. Head back to the lodge for refreshments, dinner and overnight stay.
Day 7: Game drive and Boat cruise
Wake up in the morning, delight in the breakfast and set off for the morning Game drive. It is important to note that Queen Elizabeth National Park is among the most visited parks with various fascinating wildlife so I assure an incredible adventure. More so u get chance to encounter the tree climbing lions in the Ishasha sector and you will not find them in any other park. Head back to the lodge for a lunch break and relaxation then start the adventurous Boat cruise on Kazinga channel where you are offered an opportunity to encounter other water animals like hippos, crocodiles among others. Get back to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 8: Transfer to Bwindi Forest via Ishasha
Delight in the early morning breakfast, meet and greet your driver guide then set off to Bwindi Forest National Park via the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park. In the Ishasha part, delight in an opportunity of viewing the unique tree climbing lions which you did not see while in Queen Elizabeth National Park. On your way, delight in lunch en route as well as enjoying the scenic beauty along the way. On reaching, check in at your booked lodge, relax, have dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 9: Gorilla trekking and optional community walk, transfer to Bunyonyi for canoe ride
Get up early morning for breakfast, head to the park headquarters for briefing about the activity and meet your ranger guide to start the trekking. It usually takes 30 minutes to half a day to find a gorilla family in Bwindi and once found, you are given an opportunity to interact with them for an hour, feel free to take photos, watch them as they play and feed in their natural environment. If gorillas are tracked earlier, it is upon you to engage in the Batwa community walk to visit and interact with the natives, learn their ways of living, cultures and traditions. You can as well decide not to go for the community walk and transfer to lake Bunyonyi in the south western part of Uganda for canoe ride. On reaching check in at your booked lodge, have lunch and set off for an adventurous canoe ride on lake Bunyonyi as experiencing one of the most beautiful lakes in the pearl of Africa dotted with over 29 islands, having the cleanest water and no life-threatening animals such as hippos and crocodiles. Head back to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 10: Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park and Game drive.
Enjoy breakfast in the morning, meet your driver guide and set off to Lake Mburo National Park in the western part of Uganda. Upon arrival to the park, check in at your booked lodge, delight in lunch meal, relax and later on head for evening game drive in this small but well-equipped park. It should be noted that Lake Mburo National Park is the smallest savannah park in Uganda but harboring a wide range of unique outstanding wildlife compared to its size. Catch a glimpse of the impalas, zebras, elands, buffaloes, reedbuck, oribi, deffasa to mention but a few. This is a lifetime memory and feeling that stays alive even when you are back home. Later, head to the park for relaxation, dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 11: Horse riding and transfer to Jinja
On this day, wake up in the morning for breakfast then start horse riding in the park. During horse riding, you are drawn closer to animals you were unable to view the day before in Game drive hence this offers an unbeatable safari experience in Lake Mburo National Park. Head back to the lodge for relaxation and lunch then transfer to Jinja. On reaching late evening, check in at your booked lodged and relax, enjoy dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 12: White water rafting and Boat cruise
Delight in the appetizing breakfast early morning, meet your guide and head to the Nile River for the thrilling White-water rafting. You are provided with life jackets before the activity begins and people to save life are always available just in case of near drowning therefore it is very safe and no need to worry. Head back to the lodge for lunch and relaxation then set off for Boat cruise still on the Nile River where you delight in beginning of exploring the worlds longest river and spend a few rewarding hours on water. Get back to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 13: Return to Kampala and city tour
On this day, get up in the morning for breakfast, meet your driver guide and set off to Kampala. On reaching, check in at your booked lodge relax and enjoy lunch meal, start off for a Kampala city tour and go to places like Kabaka’s lake, the Buganda parliament, Nakasero market, Makerere university among others. Head back to the lodge, relax, delight in dinner and a sleep over.
Day 14: Return home
Delight in a morning breakfast and meet your driver guide who drives you to Entebbe Airport to catch up with your booked flight then head back home.
