This 14 days Classic Uganda Gorilla and Wildlife Safari takes you to experience the best of Uganda’s prime destination. The Uganda safari takes you to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park , Murchison Falls National Park, the Kibale forest National Park, Queen Elizabeth National Park, and Lake Mburo National Park in Uganda. In addition you will explore the Kasenda Crater Lake area and marvel at the beautiful scenery surrounding Lake Bunyonyi found in Kabale. Among the activities you will enjoy will be game drives, chimpanzee trekking, gorilla tracking and birding.

14 Days Best of Uganda Wildlife Adventure | Uganda SafarisDay 1: Airport Pick up –Transfer to Entebbe

As soon as you arrive to the airport our company representative will come to pick you up and drive you for around 45 minutes after which you will arrive in Kampala and overnight and stay at Onomo Hotel Kampala or Papyrus Guest house or Cassia Lodge. On this day get launched into the  14 days classic Uganda gorilla and Wildlife Safari expecting to delight in long lasting memories that allow you to achieve your safari dream.

Day 2: Transfer to the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, Rhino tracking and nature walk

After your breakfast, we drive through the famous Luwero triangle to the Ziwa Rhino sanctuary which was set-up to conserved the endangered Rhinos. Upon arrival at the sanctuary you will will proceed for a 2 hour rhino tracking activity in which you will see some of the Rhinos in the sanctuary. Proceed to your lodge where you will check-in and have lunch. Rest in the afternoon before later going for an evening nature walk which will enable you to get a glimpse of the diverse and plentiful wildlife that share the sanctuary. Visitors regularly see Ugandan Cob, Bushbuck, Oribi, Duiker, Warthogs, Waterbuck, Reedbuck, Vervet monkeys, and black and white Colobus monkeys. Interesting reptiles often turn up including: Chameleons, Geckos and Agamas. There are also several bird species you will see at the sanctuary

Day 3: Transfer to Murchison falls, Visit the Top of the falls, evening game drive

Murchison FallsAfter your breakfast embark on your journey to Murchison Falls National Park.  Upon arrival, drive to the top of the falls which is a fantastic sight. Here the Nile, the longest river in the world, is forced through a narrow gap in the rock (only 7 meters wide), before ferociously plunging down 43 meters. From here we will continue onto our accommodation where we will check-in and have lunch.

Later, go out for an evening game drive.

Day 4: Murchison Falls Game drive – Boat cruise along the Mighty Nile           

Before going for an early morning game drive to the northern part of Murchison falls National Park led by your tour guide, take a cup of tea to warm up. This drive will reward you with  encounters  of game like, hyenas, leopards, jackals, lions, buffaloes, Uganda Kob, elephants, and many more savannah wild life species. Enjoy a 4-hour game drive around the Buligi game tracks, which stretch between the Victoria and Albert Niles, and down to the Nile-Lake Albert Delta. Return for midmorning breakfast and lunch. After the game drive head out for the Boat cruise or launch cruise along the Victoria Nile. This boat trip is often cited as being the highlight of a trip to Murchison since it allows you to get up-close and personal with the animals. Along this stretch of the river, the bird life is stunning with brightly colored kingfishers and bee-eaters darting along the riverbanks. If lucky, you may see the rare and prehistoric looking shoebill, which is a cross between the dodo and a dinosaur. The boat takes you to the base of the falls which only adds to their impressiveness.it will also provide an opening to view some of the water animals like the crocodiles, buffaloes, hippos and plenty of birds. Day 5: Transfer to Kibale National Park

Our safari guide will meet you at breakfast and transfer you to Kibale National Park via Fort Portal town. Have lunch en route and continue to Kibale forest national park arriving in the afternoon. Check in and relax at the lodge. Dinner and Overnight at;

Day 6: Chimpanzee tracking in Kibale Forest, afternoon Bigodi nature walk

After breakfast, head to the park headquarters for briefing about the chimpanzees and the forest as well, after the briefing you will be allocated in groups with a park guide and then enter into the forest to look for the primates and when you meet them take photos and videos. The experience takes 4-5 hours in the forest and then return to lodge for lunch then go for an afternoon Bigodi forest walk where you will see several primates, butterflies and birds. Dinner and overnight stay at your lodge

Day 7: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth NP

Depart for Queen Elizabeth national park located in the foothills of the Mountains of the moon. Queen Elizabeth is Uganda’s second largest park, located at the base of the majestic Ruwenzori Mountain range, adjacent to Lake Edward and Lake George. The park has prolific game, including gazelle, Uganda kob, warthog and waterbuck. Lions are often sighted both in and at the entrance to the park. Be prepared for huge numbers of hippo and elephant, and keep your eyes peeled for a leopard lazing in the sunshine. It is one of the great mountain ranges of the world. As you continue to the park you may see different animals and birds given that the park has got about 100 mammal species and a remarkable 606 bird species. In the afternoon you will have a game drive in which you will see most of the wildlife in the park.

Day 8: Morning Game drive, afternoon boat cruise

You will go for an early morning a game drive in the Kasenyi sector, you may spot various animals like the elephants, Uganda kobs, leopards among others on this best Uganda safari. Return to the lodge for late breakfast and in the afternoon, you will go for a launch cruise on Kazinga Channel where you will spot various water animals like Hippos and crocodiles, the cruise will also enrich you with various water birds. Dinner and overnight as above

Day 9: The Ishasha Sector transfer to Bwindi

You will pass through the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park where you will have chances of spotting the tree climbing lions lying on tree branches in the midmorning sunshine. Proceed to Bwindi check in at your lodge for relaxation and overnight at;

Day 10: Gorilla Tracking in Bwindi Gorilla Park and transfer to Lake Mutanda

Be up with the early bird, taking a hot coffee with a snack and be at tourism office by 8:00 am for briefing by Ranger guides about general trekking experiences, getting porters to carry your extra luggage and start off your real exciting Mountain gorilla trekking safari. Ascend steep, rugged, mist covered, thick forested hills and get in the mix with thousands of other primates, birds, mammals, insects and different wildlife species sharing habitat with gorillas and walk in their foot prints. The exciting feeling of challenging the impenetrable forests, meeting up with the gorillas and everything about the jungles is so captivating and your brief duration of life in the jungles will stretch your imagination. You will spend just one hour with gorillas within which you will have grasped almost everything about the gorillas. After gorilla trekking, transfer to Kisoro and check-in to your lodge on the shores of Lake Mutanda.

Day 11: Golden monkey trekking and transfer to Lake Bunyonyi

After an early morning breakfast, you will head out for Golden monkey trekking in Mgahinga gorilla national park. This activity will last for 3 hours in which you will spot the several monkey species in the area.  Later in the afternoon, transfer from Mgahinga gorilla national park to lake Bunyonyi, uganda’s deepest and most beautiful lodge, dotted with several islands.

Day 12 –  Lake Bunyonyi Boat Cruise

You will wake up with the rising sun. Have breakfast in the lawns and seal your mountain gorilla safari with a brief exciting boat cruise on Lake Bunyonyi. Enjoy the serenity of the lake with cool breezes soothing your skin. Be alert for several attractive bird species on the lake and pay extra attention to guide’s moving stories

Return to the lodge where you will relax, and have lunch then proceed to lake mburo national park where you will check-in at your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 13: Game drive  and a boat cruise.

Lake MburoWake up early then after breakfast you will head for game viewing in Lake Mburo national park this time it will be through driving. There are various views of gorgeous vegetation types the antelopes, the wildlife like the Zebra, Warthog, Elands, and Impala among others. After that you will head back to the hotel for lunch, you can then take on an afternoon boat cruise as you visualize the rest of the park it could take you about two hours as you see the rest of the animals that are aquatic like the hippos crocodiles water birds and more. Back to lodging for dinner and overnight.

Day 14: Transfer to Kampala.

today marks the end of our 14 days classic Uganda gorilla and Wildlife Safari, Wake up and eat breakfast as you get ready to set off for Kampala of which the journey will take you about 6 to 7hrs. A stop at the equator will be necessary so as to have the chance of standing in two hemispheres in the same period. You can then take pictures if choose to have memory of the experience and have lunch at this very stop. Determining on your next destination and the time you have on you when you arrive Kampala you will then head to your hotel for overnight stay or the airport for your scheduled flight back home.
