Gorilla trekking permit: it costs $700 for foreign nonresidents, $600 for foreign residents of east African countries, 250,000ugx for east African citizens throughout the year.

Gorilla habituation permit: it is $1500 for foreign nonresidents, $1000 for foreign residents in east Africa, 750000 UGX for East African Citizens.

The 4X4 Safari Vehicle: Due to the fact that gorilla trekking is best done in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park in its four sectors which are the Ruhija, Rushaga, Buhoma and Nkuringo sector. However you choose to go gorilla trekking in Mgahinga National Park. You are required to hire a 4×4 vehicle with the ability to manage all road terrain including remote areas Bwindi forest and Mgahinga gorilla national park. The budget accommodation options $55 to $150 per night, mid-range at $100 to 250, luxury in Bwindi $200 to $500 and upmarket facilities between $800 to $3000 per night. Prices are per room, per night and breakfast basis as well as full board options.

Porters can be hired in case of need to carry goods at a fee of $10 to $20 but guides are included in the gorilla permit.
