5 Days Kidepo and Sipi Falls Budget Safari Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer from Kampala to Gulu
On this day, you’ll meet with the driver guide at the hotel or airport, he will give you a briefing about the tour and then drive out of Kampala to Gulu. This journey takes about 6 hours and you’ll arrive at your hotel in the evening. Dinner and overnight at Bomma Hotel (budget) or Churchill Hotel (midrange)

Day 2: Transfer from Gulu town to Kidepo Valley national park
After breakfast, you’ll check out and proceed to your planned destination where you’ll be welcomed by the vast savannah, and get immersed in the wilderness of these valleys. You’ll arrive at the lodge after about 4 hours, check in, have lunch and later on head out for an evening game drive.
Dinner and overnight at Apoka safari lodge (luxury)/Nga’Moru Wilderness camp (midrange)/Adere safari lodge (budget)

Day 3: Morning game drive and Cultural encounter
After an early breakfast, you’ll go for a game drive to view some of the animals that could be in the plains grazing, for example zebras, elephants and others and some cats that could be hunting or relaxing after the hunt. After the game drive, you’ll return to the lodge, refresh, have lunch and later on visit the Karamojong communities to learn about their culture and be entertained by their traditional dances.
Dinner and overnight at Apoka safari lodge (luxury)/Nga’Moru Wilderness camp (midrange)/Adere safari lodge (budget)
Nature walk is done in the Bigodi Swamp this is to enable you spot primates like Vervet & L’Hoest monkey and also observe plenty of bird species. You will return to the lodge in the evening for your dinner and overnight stay.
Day 4: Transfer to Sipi Falls
As you leave Kidepo Valley national park for Sipi Falls, you’ll go through the plains of the park and you could still spot some more of the wild animals of the park. It takes 7-8 hours from Kidepo national park to Sipi you’ll have lunch en route.

Day 5: Hiking to Sipi falls
You’ll wake up early, have breakfast and head out for the hike to the beautiful Sipi falls which offer stunning views of the surrounding landscape and perfect background for photos. You’ll enjoy the sound of the hissing water at the falls and thereafter set off for Kampala. The driver guide will drop you at the agreed destination in Kampala or Entebbe.
