Day 1: Arrival in Kigali – Transfer to Volcanoes National Park

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking in Volcanoes National Park
Rise early for breakfast and head to the Kinigi Park Headquarters for a briefing from park rangers on gorilla trekking rules and etiquette. You’ll then set off on your gorilla trekking adventure, an unforgettable experience that can last between 2 to 6 hours, depending on the movement of the gorilla family.
Once you locate them, you’ll spend a magical hour observing their fascinating behavior — watching mothers care for their young, juveniles playing, and the dominant silverback keeping a protective watch. It’s a profound and humbling encounter with one of the world’s most endangered creatures.
