3 Days Uganda Gorilla Trekking & Batwa Experience Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park
Your driver-guide will pick you up early from Kampala or Entebbe and brief you about your safari. Begin your scenic journey to southwestern Uganda, passing through the lush countryside, terraced hills, and traditional villages.
You’ll have a stopover at the Uganda Equator for photography and a brief coffee break before continuing through Mbarara and Kabale.
Arrive at Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park in the evening, check in at your lodge, and relax with dinner while enjoying the tranquil forest atmosphere.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
After an early breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a pre-trek briefing from the Uganda Wildlife Authority guides. You’ll then be assigned a gorilla family and set off on the trek through thick rainforest.
The experience can take anywhere from 2 to 6 hours, depending on the gorillas’ movement. Once you find them, you’ll spend one unforgettable hour watching them interact, feed, and play — a deeply moving encounter.
Return to your lodge for lunch and a relaxing afternoon surrounded by the misty forest.
Optional Evening: Take a village walk or visit a local craft market.

Day 3: Batwa Cultural Experience – Return to Kampala or Kigali
