4 days bwindi/Uganda double gorilla trekking.

After an early breakfast, meet and greet with the company representative or driver guide who takes you through your 4 days double trekking safari. Later begin a transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park driving towards the western region on the Mbarara Masaka route. Enjoy an optional stopover at the Uganda Equator for photograph, buy some refreshments and then proceed to Mbarara town for lunch. After a short nap, continue to Bwindi Forest through kabale where you grab a chance to catch glimpse of the its scenic roads. Upon arrival in the park, check in at your booked lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Enjoy a delicious breakfast, get ready with your packed lunch boxes, then transfer to the park headquarters for briefing about gorilla trekking dos and don’ts during gorilla trekking exercises then proceed to the starting point and begin the trek.

Its important to note that Gorilla trekking is strenuous, depends on your interest, fitness and it can last for about 30 minutes to three quarters of the day. Expect to delight in an awesome birding watching experience as you encounter different colorful bird species, along the trek you many indigenous trees plus other more wildlife in the forest. On meeting the gorilla family the Bwindi forest jungle, feel free take some photos while observing them doing their activities. After there proceed to the headquarters, get certificates and transfer to different sector of Bwindi. go check in to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Wake up early for a cup of coffee, get your packed lunch box and proceed to the park headquarters for a second gorilla trekking experience, this time you are going to trek a new gorilla group in another. After lunch, head out for a community walk activity where by you will be able to meet the pygmies and also learn about their culture. After the awesome experience, enjoy a transfer to Lake Bunyonyi which is a home to about 29 islands and a fabulous place for many colorful birds. Lake Bunyonyi features bilharzia free water thus it is safe for swimming as refresh from a long safaris in the Bwindi jungle. Later enjoy your dinner at your booked lodge and enjoy an overnight stay.

After your early breakfast, head out for a boat cruise on Lake Bunyonyi where you enjoy a canoe ride on lake Bunyonyi, while here you get chance to experience different Islands dotted on the lake, sight many beautiful bird species and catch glimpse of terraced hills then back to the lodge. Check out of the lodge and drive back to Kampala, enjoying lunch enroute and arriving in the late evening. Your driver guide, drops at your hotel of residence in Kampala or at the Entebbe Airport to catch up with your flight back home or to the next safari destination.
