5-Day Fishing Safari in Uganda Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival at Entebbe Airport
After your flight arrives at Entebbe International Airport, a representative will be there to greet
you and take you to your hotel for check-in. Depending on when you arrive, you may opt to
discover the local sights or unwind at the lodge. Have dinner and spend the night.

Day 2: Journey to Murchison Falls National Park
Following breakfast, your driver-guide will collect you at 7:30 am to begin your trip to
Murchison Falls National Park. The drive northwest from either Kampala or Entebbe will include
a lunch break in Masindi town and will last around 5 to 6 hours. Upon reaching the park, check
into your lodge, and in the afternoon, partake in a game drive to observe wildlife.

Day 3: Angling on the Victoria Nile from Chobe Safari Lodge
Following breakfast, embark on a fishing exploration along the Nile with knowledgeable guides.
This region boasts a deep tradition of fishing in East Africa. You will head back for lunch and
have the choice to go fishing again in the evening before dinner and a night’s stay at the lodge.

Nature walk is done in the Bigodi Swamp this is to enable you spot primates like Vervet & L’Hoest monkey and also observe plenty of bird species. You will return to the lodge in the evening for your dinner and overnight stay.
Day 4: Fishing Expedition at Murchison Falls
Start the day with a morning meal before setting off on a guided boat cruise at 7:00 AM to kick
off a fishing adventure along the Nile River. The fishing targets in this area include Nile perch,
catfish, and tigerfish. Moreover, participants might spot various wildlife, such as hippos, Nile
crocodiles, and a range of bird species, including the coveted shoebill stork, which is well-
known in East Africa.
After the events, head back to the lodge to unwind, enjoy dinner, and spend the night.

Day 5: Drive to Entebbe Airport
