Day 1: Pick-up and Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

The first day of the tour involves pick up from Kigali International Airport or your hotel in
Kigali and meet and greet with an experienced driver guide from Jeisking Tours. You will then
be transferred to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in Uganda, which takes approximately 4-5
hours. Upon arrival, you will check in at your lodge, have lunch, and relax while waiting for
dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park

Day two is dedicated to gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. After an early
morning breakfast, after your meal, you will gather your packed lunch and head to the park
headquarters for a briefing regarding gorilla trekking protocols and guidelines to ensure a
respectful interaction with these incredible animals. Following the briefing, you will be divided
into small groups, each consisting of a maximum of eight participants, to facilitate a more
intimate and less intrusive experience with the gorillas. Once organized, you will embark on your
trek into the heart of the Bwindi forest, where the search for the mountain gorillas will begin.
The trek can vary greatly, typically 1 to 8 hours, depending on the gorillas' location. Though the
terrain may be challenging, the encounter with these magnificent creatures is immensely
rewarding. You will have a full hour to observe the gorillas as they display their natural behaviors, including foraging, socializing, and playing, allowing for numerous photo opportunities. Back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Transfer to Gisenyi

On the third day, after a heavy breakfast, you will transfer to Gisenyi, a beautiful town on the
shores of Lake Kivu. The journey takes approximately 4-5 hours. Upon arrival, you will check in
at your hotel and relax.

Day 4: Nyiragongo Volcano Hiking

After enjoying a hearty breakfast, you will be transferred to Nyiragongo National Park, where a
briefing will be held to prepare you for the day’s hike. The ascent to the summit of Nyiragongo
Mountain is an exhilarating experience that will take approximately 5-6 hours. This trek is not
only physically rewarding but also offers a fascinating glimpse into the biodiversity of the
tropical rainforest that thrives along the trail.
For a comfortable hike, it is advisable to wear sturdy rubber shoes and carry essential gear,
including a rain jacket to prepare for possible weather changes, a climbing stick for support,
headgear for sun protection, and sufficient drinking water to stay hydrated. As you climb, take
time to absorb the stunning views and the unique flora and fauna that surround you.
At the summit, you'll find tented camps where you will spend the night. A delicious dinner will
be served, and you’ll have the opportunity to witness the incredible spectacle of the active
volcano.

Day 5: Descend from the Summit and Transfer to Goma

After an early breakfast at the summit camp, it’s time to descend to base camp. The descent can

Once back, a driver will be waiting to take you to Goma, a vibrant city on the shores of Lake
Kivu.
In Goma, explore the charming local village and enjoy nature walks that showcase the area's

Day6:Departure
