6 days Uganda Gorilla and Murchison Falls Safari

Upon arrival, you are picked by the company representative and transfer to Murchison Falls National Park and navigate through the Luwero triangle which consists of plenty of fruits, you will have a stopover and buy some fruits like mangoes, oranges, pineapples and many more. Later continue with the journey to Masindi where you will have lunch from and proceed to the park. On reaching transfer to your booked lodge, check in and head out the beautiful top of the falls on Victoria Nile, after the awesome experience you go back to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Take the early morning delicious breakfast, and head out for morning drive together with your driver guide around the Buligi game tracks on the northern bank with a trained game ranger guide where you grab an opportunity to see various animal species like Rothchild giraffe, herds of buffaloes, Jackson’s hartebeest, elephants, lions and baboons then go back for lunch at the lodge. In the afternoon transfer to Paraa boat point for a boat cruise experience on the Victoria Nile and see wildlife at the bank of the fall which include buffaloes, hippos and crocodiles, bird species like the shoebill stork there after you go back to the lodge for the dinner and an overnight stay.

Wake up early for a morning breakfast, transfer from Murchison Falls National Park to Kibale Forest National Park with an enroute lunch, enjoy the beautiful sceneries of the Rwenzori ranges, great lake Albert,Lake George, rift valley as you proceed to kibale Forest. Upon arrival check in at the booked lodge, enjoy dinner and an overnight stay in the park.

Nature walk is done in the Bigodi Swamp this is to enable you spot primates like Vervet & L’Hoest monkey and also observe plenty of bird species. You will return to the lodge in the evening for your dinner and overnight stay.

After the early morning cup of tea, join your driver guide and transfer to kanyanchu the park’s headquarters to meet other visitors for a briefing about the dos and the donts when you meet the chimpanzee. While here you are divided into groups of 6 people and assigned rangers guides who take you through the chimpanzee trek. Your chimpanzee trekking experience can take about an hour to three quarters of the day due to the fact that chimpanzees are wild animals and they usually move from place to another looking for the food. However upon locating them you are allowed to take pictures of the chimpanzees but you have to stay a meter away from them.

It is important to note that Chimpanzee tracking is fairly strenuous, so a minimum level of fitness is required, from chimp tracking you enjoy lunch, relax and later go for a walk in Bigodi swamp which was started by the community with an aim of developing the community.

After your early breakfast, join your driver guide for a transfer from Kibale forest to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park enjoying lunch enroute, groove on the eye catching terraced landscape along the way and also get lost in the stunning tea and banana plantation on way to the park. On reaching Bwindi forest, transfer to booked lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Enjoy an early delicious breakfast , get ready with your packed lunch box then get into the car and transfer to the briefing center to know more about what is going to happen in the forest. Thereafter head to the forest to search for a habituated gorilla family, on locating the gorilla group you are allowed a full hour to interact with them as you observe the way they relate. Thereafter, transfer to the lodge to freshen up and then head out for a Batwa walk in the evening to enjoy their authentic culture exhibited through dance and song performances. After the awesome experience return to the lodge for evening relaxation, dinner and overnight stay.

Pack up your things, check out and head to the dinning for a leisure breakfast and then be ready to transfer to Kampala with lunch en-route in Mbarara town and a stop at the Uganda Equator for photography. Arriving in Kampala in the late evening, your driver guide drops you at your hotel of residence or at Entebbe Airport to catch up with your scheduled flight back home which makes the end of your safari.
