Day 1: Arrival and Transfer to Kibale National Park
Your 7-day adventure begins with a warm welcome at Entebbe International Airport or your hotel. After a detailed safari briefing by your driver-guide, you’ll begin your scenic drive to Kibale National Park, often referred to as the “Primate Capital of the World.” The journey takes you through rolling hills, rural villages, and endless tea plantations, offering glimpses of Uganda’s vibrant countryside. Upon arrival, check into your lodge, enjoy lunch, and spend the evening relaxing amidst the forest sounds of Kibale.

Day 2: Chimpanzee Habituation Experience in Kibale Forest
After an early breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a briefing on your chimpanzee habituation experience — one of the most immersive wildlife encounters in Africa. Led by expert guides and trackers, you’ll spend up to four hours observing chimpanzees as they forage, groom, communicate, and interact in their natural habitat. This deeper experience allows for a more profound connection with these intelligent primates. Along the way, keep an eye out for other forest dwellers such as red-tailed monkeys, black-and-white colobus, and over 300 bird species.

Day 3: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Day 5: Ishasha’s Tree-Climbing Lions & Transfer to Bwindi
After breakfast, set off for the Ishasha Sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park, renowned for its rare tree-climbing lions often seen lounging in fig trees. The drive through this southern part of the park also offers chances to spot topis, elephants, and buffaloes.
