8-day fishing safari in ssese and Murchison Falls National Park

Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe and Pickup
Upon arrival, you will be picked up by an experienced driver guide from Jeisking Tours, meet
and greet, and then transfer to your Hotel on the shores of Lake Victoria. The guide will take
you through the itinerary have your meals and rest waiting for the next day’s adventure.

Day 2: Fishing on Lake Victoria
Wake up early for breakfast and head to Lake Victoria for a full day of fishing. Accompanied by
expert guides on motorized boats, you'll have a fantastic opportunity to catch various fish,
including the Nile perch, which can weigh over 100 kg. Enjoy the beautiful scenery, including
islands, local fishermen, and diverse bird species. After returning for lunch, you can explore
further in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 3: Transfer to the Ssese Islands
Wake up early for breakfast and then embark on the journey to the historical ssese island. This

tropical island retreat, you’re warmly welcomed by friendly locals and treated to a
delicious lunch of freshly caught seafood. You then explore hidden treasures, from
secluded coves to ancient forests filled with wildlife. As night falls, you gather around a
bonfire, sharing stories under the stars and forging lasting bonds. Overnight stay at the

Day 4: Sport fishing in Ssese Island
A new day begins with a fishing expedition on Lake Victoria, famous for its diverse fish
species. Participants embark in a traditional wooden canoe, guided by local fishermen
as they navigate through channels and mangrove forests in search of tigerfish and
tilapia. After a picnic on a serene island, enjoying freshly prepared food amidst stunning
scenery, the anglers resume fishing, each catch celebrating the beauty of Africa’s
largest lake. The day ends with a return to the lodge for relaxation, dinner, and an
overnight stay.

Day 5: Journey to Murchison Falls National Park
Following breakfast, your driver-guide will collect you at 7:30 am to begin your trip to
Murchison Falls National Park. The drive northwest from either Kampala or Entebbe will include
a lunch break in Masindi town and will last around 5 to 6 hours. Upon reaching the park, check
into your lodge, and in the afternoon, partake in a game drive to observe wildlife.

Day 6: Game Drives at Paraa Safari Lodge
Begin the day with breakfast at 7:00 AM before departing for the Paraa area, renowned for its
rich wildlife population and chances to spot the Big Five, along with various other animal
species and numerous bird types. After the morning game drive, guests will have lunch at Paraa
Safari Lodge, where they can enjoy peaceful views of the Nile River. In the evening, another
game drive will take place for additional wildlife sightings, followed by dinner and an overnight
stay at the lodge.

Day 7: Fishing Expedition at Murchison Falls
Start the day with a morning meal before setting off on a guided boat cruise at 7:00 AM to kick

catfish, and tigerfish. Moreover, participants might spot various wildlife, such as hippos, Nile
crocodiles, and a range of bird species, including the coveted shoebill stork, which is well-
known in East Africa.
After the day's events, head back to the lodge to unwind, enjoy dinner, and spend the night.

Day 8: Drive to Entebbe Airport
After enjoying breakfast in the morning, check out and commence the journey back to
