Chimpanzee trekking is one of the thrilling activities in Murchison Falls National Park where visitors are given chance to move on foot into the forest in search of the habituated chimpanzees and if you find them spend one hour with them while in their homes giving you chance to learn their lifestyle, behavior and more others. The trekking is done in Budongo forest after briefing at the park headquarters, after there you proceed with the trekking with the help of a guide. The trekking takes 3 to 4 hours and you get an opportunity to see other interesting primates during trekking like the white Columbus monkeys, black Columbus monkeys, blue monkeys and bird species.

Bird watching.

Murchison Falls National Park is blessed with over 450 bird species plus the Albertine rift endemic species, water birds and forest birds making it the best birding destination in Uganda.
