You’ll then embark on a guided trek through the dense rainforest in search of a habituated gorilla family. The trek can take 2 to 6 hours, depending on their location, but the reward is extraordinary — an intimate hour observing these magnificent creatures in their natural habitat.

Watch as the gorillas feed, groom, and play, their gentle interactions offering one of the most humbling experiences in the wild. After your trek, return to your lodge for a late lunch and relaxation. In the evening, you may opt for a community walk to visit the Batwa pygmies and learn about their traditional forest life.
