Day 1: Arrival and Fly to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you’ll be warmly received by your safari representative for a short briefing before your scheduled flight to Kisoro or Kihihi Airstrip, depending on your lodge location. The flight offers breathtaking aerial views of Uganda’s lush landscape — from glistening lakes to forested hills and vibrant villages.
Upon landing, your guide will transfer you through the scenic highlands to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Day 2: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
Rise early for breakfast and transfer to the park headquarters for your pre-trek briefing by experienced rangers. You’ll then venture into the dense jungle in search of a habituated gorilla family, guided by trackers who have followed their paths since dawn.
The trek may last between 2 to 6 hours depending on the gorillas’ location, but the reward is priceless — an intimate hour spent observing them in their natural habitat. Watch as the gorillas feed, groom, and play, their human-like expressions revealing a deep sense of connection.
