2 days Rwanda Mountain gorilla safari

This 2 days Rwanda gorilla trekking safari offers a lifetime experience of encountering mountain
gorillas in Volcanoes National Park.
Duration: 2 days and one night

Day 1: Transfer to Volcanoes National Park

Pick up from the airport or hotel by driver-guide and transfer to Volcanoes National Park. The
drive takes you through beautiful sceneries including rolling hills, and banana plantations and it
is approximately 2-3 hours to reach the park in Musanze.

Day 2: Gorilla trekking and departure.

Enjoy breakfast before transferring to the park headquarters, where you will learn the dos and
don’ts of gorilla trekking. You’ll be divided into groups of eight and assigned to a specific
habituated gorilla family. After locating the family, you will spend one hour observing and
photographing them while learning about their lifestyle. After your trek, you will return to
Kigali.

Duration: 3 days and 2 nights
This 3-day safari to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park takes you to Bwindi for a gorilla
trekking experience in their natural habitat, Batwa community encounters.

Day 1: Arrival and transfer to Bwindi impenetrable national park

According to your arrival time, you will be picked up by a driver guide who will welcome you
and transfer you to Bwindi impenetrable national park with a stopover at the equator plus an en-
route lunch. The journey will take over 10 hours. Check-in, refreshment dinner, and stay
throughout the safari.

Day 2: Gorilla trekking

After breakfast, go to park headquarters for briefing and proceed to search for the allocated
gorilla family which you will stay with for an hour this will grant you a chance to know their
behaviors and their lifestyle giving you the ultimate gorilla experience. From there you will get
back to the lodge, have lunch, and then relax as you prepare for an evening Batwa community
walk. Here you will get to talk to the local people you will find in this community, given ales
about their culture, know their ways of living, and know what they do to earn a living. Back to
the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: transfer back to Kampala

Have breakfast, checkout, and kick off your journey to Kampala, Entebbe, or Entebbe
International Airport for our departure flight. During the journey, you will have a stopover at the
equator for the water experience, and photograph and buy a souvenir for yourself from the craft
shops around. Proceed to Kampala hence the end of the safari.
